A special day awaits! Not only will you be in the air for 1h 35 minutes in our K5054 Spitfire but you will be crewing up and starting from the iconic BBMF Hangar amongst many of her wartime stablemates!  Taxying out to the Runway which was home to Bomber Commands 5 Group during WW2 which would have resounded with the roar of many Rolls Royce engine, which powered the Avro Lancaster.

Climbing up over Lincolnshire in company with a Spitfire and Hurricane escort on each of her beautiful wings, you won’t know where to look! You next sight might be the Red Arrows - we await final confirmation that they will be able to join the flight. Please keep in touch with our social media for confirmation of their inclusion.  My word what an incredible view that will be! The beautiful red BAE Hawks of the nation’s aerobatic team with the blue shimmer of K5054!  A moment of pure joy forever burnt into the mind’s eye!

Onwards up over the fantastic East Coast, Hadrian’s wall where you can have a go at experiencing the lightness of the controls and maybe see the stunning scenery of Northumberland and Bamburgh castle through the top of the canopy as you complete a victory roll over England’s Green and Pleasant Lands.

 Into Scotland and the Firth of Forth where some of the RAFs earliest Spitfires were in combat with the Luftwaffe during the earliest phases of the war.  Up over RAF Grangemouth the home to Spitfire training during WW2, dipping your wing as you pass in salute to all those who have known the beauty of the aircraft you are seated in. The Scenery is grabbing you attention as you head up towards the Forth bridge when your joined in formation by a Phenom T1, your personal escort into RAF Leuchars, A very historic RAF Airfield in its own right, home to Coastal Command units during WW2 and post war, many famous fighter Squadrons such as 43 and 111 Squadrons. Touch down on a Runway that was once home to the equally iconic DH Mosquito. As you touch down and taxy in, your mind will be struggling to process the shear wonderment of the flight, A story you can dine out on for many years to come!
