Book your Spitfire flight experience

Your booking time is when your briefing will start. So please arrive 5-10 minutes early.

Please allow at least 2 hours overall to account for briefings, preparation and any minor operational delays that could happen on the day.

After your briefing, you’ll be fitted with a flight suit, which you’ll wear over the top of your clothes for the whole flight. So we recommend wearing a t-shirt, comfortable shirt or light jumper with jeans, chinos or similar trousers. Clothes made with natural fibres are best if possible.

For safety reasons, it’s also important that you wear enclosed shoes, not sandals or flip flops.

• You’ll be wearing a fire-resistant Nomex flight suit, leather flying gloves, a life jacket with a personal locator beacon, and a helmet with integrated headphones and microphone
• You’ll also be fitted with a parachute that has a static line attached to the aircraft, which our operations officers will teach you how to use
• The seats in the aircraft are also equipped with ‘Hooker’ four-point harnesses, and our operations officers will explain how to work the central buckle and clasp
• We thoroughly inspect each aircraft at the beginning of every flying day
• Professional engineers and the pilot conduct additional checks between flights
• Each Spitfire receives a more in-depth inspection every 25 hours, with a comprehensive inspection every year

Before your flight, you’ll receive a detailed briefing from your pilot covering safety, aircraft systems and what to expect in the air. You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions or discuss your preferences for the flight. And we’ll fit you with your helmet, headset and flight suit.

Your briefing ensures you’re fully prepared and comfortable before heading out to the aircraft. You can bring one friend or family member into the briefing with you.

We only book one customer per time slot. So your briefing and flight are entirely focused on you.

Our suggested flight route highlights the scenery around each location. But you’re not restricted to it.

If conditions allow, your pilot can adapt the route to suit your interests. But the flight must avoid restricted airspace and built‑up areas, and remain within safe gliding distance of land.

Your pilot will handle takeoff, landing and aerobatics. But when conditions allow and communications are clear, you’ll have the chance to take control of the Spitfire yourself!

After your flight, we’ll present you with a squadron print of the Spitfire you flew, the flight suit patch you wore during your flight and a commemorative sticker to take home.

If you didn’t purchase a 360 video before or on the day of your flight, we’ll also send you a link to give you one last opportunity to get it. This link will last for 7 days – so be sure to grab it before it’s gone!
