Chase Plane

Spitfire chase plane experiences and packages

Flying in the Spitfire is one of the most amazing experiences you’ll ever have. So why not share it with your friends and family!

AN ADD-ON EXPERIENCE FOR YOUR FAMILY TOO

Loved ones are often left on the ground to await your return and your stories of daring do. But by adding a chase plane to your Spitfire flight experience, they can share the flight with you up in the air! Flying in a chase plane makes the day a fantastic experience and memory for everyone. You could even end up with a photo of yourself grinning from the back seat of the Supermarine Spitfire for your wall, desk or mantlepiece at home. Note: Adding a chase plane experience to a two-seater Spitfire flight isn’t the same as booking a fly alongside experience.

CAA approval

CAA

Spitfires.com has been approved by the United Kingdom’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to carry paying passengers in our GippsAero Airvan G-IPPS through the issuance of an ‘A to A’ Air Operators Certificate (AOC). This is the same approval type issued to UK airlines, but comes with a few limitations. Flights can’t travel more than 50 nm from the point of take off, must land at the same airfield they took off from, and can only operate during the day in good flying conditions.
