Jack Rann

Jack’s love of aviation started when he was a young boy, growing up watching warbirds and the Red Arrows at air shows. He loved watching classic war films such as The Battle of Britain, The Dambusters and in more recent times, Top Gun.

At the age of 13, he joined the Air Cadets where he had his first taste of flying, enjoying gliding and aerobatics.

Jack gained further aviation-related experience by volunteering to clean aircraft and look after customers at a flight experience company based at Goodwood. He then moved onto a role as part of an Airfield Fire and Rescue and operations team at Solent Airport Daedalus. Here, he helped in the safe running of the airport.

Towards the end of 2019, Jack decided to further his knowledge and experience and spent time working in the Aeronautical Rescue Co-ordination Centre where his role was central to the coordination of the aviation response to emergencies across the UK.

In 2021, Jack returned to us and is now our Operations Lead.
